

















A second generation martial artist with over 25 years experience as a practitioner and 15 years experience as an instructor and coach. Michael is a 4th degree black belt in Kenpo Karate, blue belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu, nationally certified kickboxing coach and gold medalist at regional, national, intercontinental and world championships. Michael has traveled across North America, as well as, to Greece, Thailand, South Africa and Brazil to compete and train. He is a long-time member of Canada's national kickboxing team and is the president of amateur kickboxing in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

2005 - Received 4th degree black belt under Mike Foley sr.
2007 - Atlantic Canadian Kickboxing Championship title belt (FC).
2008 - Received blue belt in Gracie jiu jitsu under Master Pedro Sauer.
2010 - Canadian National Kickboxing Championship title belt (LK).
Certifications:
Alex started out with Shotokan Karate at the age of seven and studied for two years before switching to Kenpo. From there, he studied hard to reach the level of black belt in seven years under Michael Foley. Michael has only ever awarded two other black belts previously in his 16 years instructing. Alex is an avid competitor who takes in as many tournaments as he can. He has placed first overall in the black belt division multiple times as a brown belt and is currently training to make his kickboxing debut. In 2009, he received his yellow belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu under master Pedro Sauer and then his green belt under professor Luis Heredia, making him the first to receive both of these belts in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in the province.

Certification:
A martial artist since the age of 6, Steve has a 3rd degree blackbelt in Kenpo Karate with over 17 years experience. Steve has been instructing Kenpo, Sport Karate, and Kickboxing for a number of years, and has been competing since 1995. Throughout his many years of local competition he has also travelled to Ontario for the very well attended Ontario Open, as well as, to Greece as member of the Canadian National Kickboxing Team. His deep roots in the martial arts contiune to grow through disciplined training, high level competition and through passing his knowledge and experience on to those he teaches.

Certifications:
Began training in the martial arts in 1995 at the age of eight. Zack has been a regular in the local competition scene since, amassing many top three finishes along the way. In addititon, he has competed internationally at Ed Parker's Kenpo Karate world championships. He began his kickboxing career in 2006 and continues to compete in full contact and low kick bouts. Zack has trained at the highest level from day one and his experience is an asset to our instructional staff.
